We brought our pup here after she showed signs of sickness - lethargy and not eating. I did my research before I landed at this clinic. The visit was close to $90 and I was told anything else would be discussed and need my approval. For our visit we paid close to $370 and that included a visit, blood work, antibiotic shot, and 2 weeks of antibiotics - now every pup's visit won't be the same but for us this was a reasonable price. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and they answered any of my questions without hesitation. At checkout they informed me if I needed anything I could call or text and that all the staff gets an alert and they would answer even if they are closed, that eased my mind. We will be back for any of our pups needs.

Dr Dozier and her staff are no nonsense professionals and super nice people. No appointments. 8am Walk-in only. I went early and waited so I could be first in line but it wasn't bad. No need to worry about being early like I did. They treated our sick cat, provided us with take-home prescriptions and a bag of special diet food. All for a very reasonable price. The whole exam and treatment took 1 hour. I am very happy about this place! I do recommend.

Personal service even when they're crowded. You always get to talk to Dr Dozier, who really cares about her patients and their owners and/or rescuers. Reasonably priced. Update Jan 2024. Morticia Addams was euthanized this morning. Severe mouth inflammation and disease. SS is still the kindest Vet I've ever had for my little rescue 💖

I can't say enough good things about Southside vet. I have a big baby bully breed, Rapture, that is terrified of other big dogs due to him being attacked by two other big dogs about a year and a half ago. His fear turns into him thinking that he's going to be attacked the moment he sees another big dog. He thinks he has to protect himself and immediately goes into defensive mode and wants to fight. I called several Veterinarian offices to see if they would accommodate us and allow him to either be booked while there are no other big dogs in the waiting room, then allow us to go straight back to an exam room, come through a back door, or to be able to give him a mild sedative before his appointment. None of the other offices were willing to do that. They said none of those options were possible. I asked a friend of mine, who is in rescue, for a recommendation on an office that would be willing to accommodate him. She recommended Southside Vet and I couldn't be more grateful that she did!! When I called, the receptionist immediately offered for Rapture to be brought in through their side door and placed in one of their big kennels. On the day of the appointment, she had me come in and fill out his paperwork and fully explained what was going to happen. She then had me bring him in their side door. There were other barking dogs in the other kennels but he paid no mind to them while going straight into his designated kennel. He was there for neuter and vaccinations. She called me to let me know when his surgery was finished and again when it was time to pick him up. When I picked him up, he didn't seem stressed or afraid. Just dopey from the anesthesia. The office is an older one and is small from what I could tell but the care, compassion, and understanding of our situation they provided to my boy completely outweigh all of the other updated, expansive, fancy, and expensively decorated offices. I'm now transferring all of our other furry family members to Southside vet

My niece told me about this place, and we were not disappointed ! The staff was amazing and they were able to see my mom's dog Bobby and get him into surgery same day at a very affordable price. Thank you Sam and Dr. Dozier and the other wonderful techs that I didn't get their names.

I cannot recommend this vet more highly! In 2011, we took our 8 week old longhair dachshund to this clinic for her first checkup because it was the nearest vet to our home- what a wonderfully lucky happenstance! For MANY years, we came to love and rely on the loving, thorough, and affordable services provided at Southside Veterinary Clinic. Dr. Dozier is a phenomenal vet, extremely dedicated to the wellbeing of animals and the community that she serves. And the staff show the same love and devotion towards all! We always knew that our little Macy would be treated like a princess anytime we took her there, through the years and into her old age. Now that she is 14, we were so sad to leave the expertise and thoughtfulness of this clinic behind as we moved to a new city. If you are fortunate enough to live near to Southside Vet Clinic, you and your pet will be in very capable, caring hands here!

I am so grateful for the thoughtful, incredible care our pet (and family) has received from Southside! Every single staff member, especially the vet techs (Lindsey), went above and beyond to support our fur baby as well as our family. I cannot recommend them enough. If you need emergent, compassionate care, Southside is a Fort Worth gem!

What an incredible team. They truly care about our little fur babies. Our little old man Yogi is a 14 year old chihuahua who started having complications. They have answered all our questions, reached out the check on him and have even taken the time to ask the Doctor additional questions that we have. The doctor and team have answered all our questions and given us additional advice. Cannot thank them enough ❤️.

We love this clinic and staff so much! We've been taking our chihuahua mix and beagle here for the past few years. We used to live close by (about 15mins away), but even since moving to Eagle Mountain lake area, we still make the drive about 30mins away to keep the girls where we know and trust. Because my husband works nights and my schedule is so crazy, having the ability to walk in for an appointment vs scheduling is SO helpful. Not to mention, if anything urgent comes up, we are able to get in quickly. The staff knows our dogs by name, and can always recognize my husband's voice when he calls for refills or scheduling. The front desk worker is so amazing!! She has NEVER complained about having to call in refills to our CVS for our old girl, despite CVS being notorious for having a long wait time. Both of our girls are getting older (which means more issues and meds), but I've always felt confident in the care they get (this coming from someone who was a prior vet tech). It's not the fanciest clinic in the world, but the staff are caring and our doggos have always been well taken care of (which matters WAY more to me than all of the fancy stuff). Reasonable prices and a caring team, so I can't recommend them enough!
